How to Make Great DVDs of Live Performances!

Our Instructional DVD
The DVD is packed with almost two hours of instruction, examples, and pointers on shooting musicals, recitals, plays, and other live performances. The techniques described can be applied to many kinds of events, and the results can be put onto a DVD or the web.
Ken and Steve both got involved with video through high school theatrical events. Ken figured out what was needed to do this right and he trained Steve. Together they've shot numerous one- and two-camera events.
What's on the DVD
The DVD has four sections:
- 34 minutes: Ken's 8 Steps to Great DVDs. From the basic to the advanced, specific things you can do to improve your video.
- 23 minutes: Doing Audio Right. Audio quality can be more important than video quality, and this section has lots of detail on how to capture great audio.
- 15 minutes: The Shoot. All you need to do is show up and tape the event, right? Nope!
- 32 minutes: Editing and Production. Introduction to A/V sync-up and editing, DVD manufacturing, plus an annotated example of our work.
