MTSCopyCat - Our First Cheap Tool

Actually, it's our only cheap tool so far. For Win 7 PCs.
Steve wrote it and Ken found the bugs.
If your camcorder encodes AVCHD format onto a
flash memory card (like ours do), and if you record
long scenes (like we do), you know that MTS files
are written in 4GB chunks. For example, a 60-minute
recording might result in three MTS files. Some video
editors understand this, but others don't. In order to
make them happy the files must be concatenated into
a single file on your hard drive.
Just plug the camera or SD card into your PC and
start MTSCopyCat. It will locate the AVCHD
playlists and display them as shown here. Select the
clips to be copied, enter file names and a destination
folder. That's all there is to it!
Download the zip file by clicking here. If it doesn't run
properly just send us your playlist (MPL) file. If you're
curious about MPL format you can find info here.
Comments are welcome here.

We hope you like it so much that you'll want to donate $5, but only AFTER you've downloaded it and seen that it
works for you.
